The Weekend Ensaymada is a home-based baking business run by Marishell Evangelista, a passionate, self-taught baker from Delahey, Victoria. At the beginning, Marishell just baked to fulfill her craving for Filipino breads. Missing home, she started experimenting on recipes on her own, being the Science teacher that she is. Baking as a hobby was the natural progression, until family and friends urged her to build her baking business in 2020. Since then, weekends have never been the same again.
